Soulme ("we", "us", "our") operates https://soulme.tv and the Soulme mobile applications (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal data.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account data: username, email, password (hashed), profile (nickname, avatar, bio, gender, birthday, location)
- Authentication: when you sign in via third-party providers (Google, Apple, Facebook, etc.), we receive the provider's user ID, your name and email (as authorized by you)
- Content: messages, comments, posts, media you upload
- Payment: when you recharge, Stripe processes your card details — we never receive or store your card number; we receive transaction metadata only
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device & network: device type, OS, browser, IP address (for fraud prevention and rate limiting)
- Usage: features used, session duration, IoT device operation logs
- Cookies: session cookies, anti-CSRF tokens (essential, not opt-out)
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and operate the Service (account, chat, livestream, IoT device control, payments)
- Authenticate you and prevent unauthorized access
- Send transactional emails (verification, password reset, recharge confirmation)
- Improve safety: fraud detection, abuse prevention, audit logs
- Comply with legal obligations (tax records, court orders)
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Service providers (AWS for hosting/storage, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Easemob for chat, Agora for real-time video, OpenAI for real-time call translation — call audio is processed transiently to generate translations and is not used for model training per OpenAI's API data policy) — bound by data processing agreements
- Other users: your public profile and posts are visible to other users by design
- Legal authorities: when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property
- Business transfers: if Soulme merges or is acquired, your data may transfer subject to this Policy
4. Data Retention
We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Account data is retained until deletion (see Section 7). Audit logs required by law (financial, anti-fraud) are kept for the legally required period, with personal identifiers anonymized.
5. Security
We use bcrypt password hashing, TLS in transit, hashed S3 access tokens, JWT signing with strong secret rotation. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong password and enable email verification.
6. International Transfers
Soulme servers are hosted in AWS US-East. By using the Service, you consent to data transfer to and processing in the United States.
7. Your Rights
- Access: request a copy of your data
- Correct: update inaccurate data via Settings or email support
- Delete: see Data Deletion Instructions
- Object / Restrict: contact support to limit processing
- Portability: export your data on request
- Withdraw consent: remove third-party login linkage in your provider's account settings
To exercise these rights, email support@soulme.tv. We respond within 30 days.
8. Children's Privacy
Soulme is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact support and we will delete it.
9. Third-Party Sign-In
When you sign in via Google, Apple, Facebook, Line, or TikTok, the provider may receive limited information about your use of Soulme (e.g. that you logged in). Refer to each provider's privacy policy:
9.1 TikTok Login Kit — Specific Data Use
When you sign in to Soulme with TikTok, we request the user.info.basic scope only. We collect and use the following fields:
- open_id: a unique identifier provided by TikTok. We store it permanently linked to your Soulme account so that returning users sign in instantly on subsequent visits.
- display_name: used as your Soulme nickname (visible on your profile, in chat, and on leaderboards). Refreshed each time you sign in.
- avatar_url: used as your Soulme profile picture (visible on your profile and in chat). Refreshed each time you sign in.
We do not request, fetch, or store any other TikTok data (videos, followers, email, phone, etc.). We do not share TikTok data with any third party, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
You can revoke our app's access at any time from TikTok's settings (Settings → Privacy → Apps). You can also delete your Soulme account entirely from Settings → Delete Account, which permanently removes your TikTok open_id binding within 30 days.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the latest version. Significant changes will be announced in-app or by email.

- 身份认证, 防止未授权访问
- 发送事务性邮件 (验证、找回密码、充值确认)

- 履行法律义务 (税务记录、法院命令)
3. 数据共享
我们不出售您的个人数据. 仅在以下情况共享:
- 服务商 (AWS 托管/存储, Stripe 支付, Resend 邮件, 环信聊天, 声网实时音视频) — 受数据处理协议约束
- 其他用户: 您的公开资料和动态对其他用户可见 (设计如此)
- 法律机关: 法律要求时, 或为保护权利、安全、财产
- 业务转让: Soulme 合并或被收购时, 您的数据可能依本政策转让
4. 数据保留
我们仅在上述用途必要期内保留您的数据. 账号数据保留至删除 (见第 7 条). 法律要求的审计日志 (财务、反作弊) 按法定年限保留, 个人身份信息脱敏.
5. 安全
我们使用 bcrypt 密码哈希、传输 TLS、S3 访问 token 哈希、JWT 强密钥签名定期 rotate. 无系统 100% 安全 — 请使用强密码并启用邮箱验证.
6. 国际传输

当您通过 TikTok 登录 Soulme, 我们仅请求 user.info.basic scope, 收集和使用以下字段:
